DELICATO FAMILY VINEYARDS AND V2 WINE GROUP ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

NAPA, Calif. -- Delicato Family Vineyards (Delicato) and V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California (V2) are proud to announce a strategic alliance effective today. Under the terms of the agreement Delicato is making a significant equity investment in V2 as part of Delicato’s ongoing premiumization and growth strategy that began with the acquisition of Black Stallion Estate Winery in 2010 followed by the launch of Diora and Z. Alexander Brown wines. Delicato is the fastest growing Top Ten wine company as reported by The Nielsen Company* and was recognized by the organization at the 2016 Unified Wine Symposium as just one of two wine companies to achieve greater than 100K case volume growth while also achieving double digit growth across the entire portfolio. Delicato’s growth has been led by the launch of ultra-premium Z. Alexander Brown which quickly became the #1 new wine brand of 2016** as well as the market leading performance of its Bota Box, Noble Vines and Gnarly Head brands.

V2 will operate as a distinct Sales and Marketing Platform with its own unique portfolio and channel strategy. Dan Leese, President, and Katy Leese, General Manager, will continue to lead V2 in their current capacity. “The V2 portfolio perfectly complements Delicato’s with the varietals consumers want from some of the best growing regions in the world such as Rosé from Provence; Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley; Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley; and Shiraz from the Barossa Valley” noted Delicato President and CEO Chris Indelicato. “We plan to invest in growing the brands and the company that Dan and Katy have built.”

V2 WINE GROUP AND DONATI FAMILY VINEYARD ANNOUNCE A SALES AND MARKETING AGREEMENT

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California and Donati Family Vineyard of Templeton, CA are pleased to announce a sales and marketing partnership between the two companies effective March 1, 2017. Under the terms of the agreement V2 Wine Group (V2) will provide sales and marketing services and manage the distribution network of the Donati Family Vineyards (DFV) portfolio throughout the United States. Founder Ron Donati started the winery with his three sons and produces Bordeaux varieties from the Central Coast, mainly sourced from the reclaimed Paicines AVA.

“We are proud to partner with Ron and his sons to bring their Donati family wines to consumers across the U.S. and Canada. We have diligently searched the Central Coast for a family winery that shares our commitment to super-premium wines as well as growth, and we found that with the Donati family,” commented Dan Leese, Co-Founder and President of V2 Wine Group.

V2 WINE GROUP AND WINE BY JOE ANNOUNCE A SALES AND MARKETING AGREEMENT

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California and Wine by Joe (WBJ) are proud to announce a sales and marketing partnership between the two companies effective January 1, 2017. Under the terms of the agreement V2 Wine Group will provide sales and marketing services and manage the distribution network of the Joe Dobbes Collection of wines throughout the United States. President, Founder and Winemaker Joe Dobbes crafts his three brands; Wine By Joe, Dobbes Family Estate and Jovino in his Dundee, Oregon wineries with grapes sourced from select vineyards predominantly in the Willamette and Rogue Valley.

V2 WINE GROUP EXPANDS SALES ORGANIZATION  

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California is very pleased to announce the hiring of three experienced Regional Sales Managers to support their growing business.

Barbara Jurbala recently joined V2 Wine Group as Region Manager, Texas/Louisiana. She has been in the Beverage Alcohol Industry for more than 20 years working for industry leaders such as Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Brown-Forman Wines, and Glazer's. Barbara brings great sales expertise to these key markets and will be responsible for all of V2's commercial business in Texas and Louisiana.

Debbie Emery has joined V2 as a Region Manager for California and has a 20-year background of sales successes on the West Coast. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her time with Terroir, Banfi, and Pacific Wine Partners (Constellation) making her an ideal fit for this highly visible and important position working with Wine Warehouse and Chambers & Chambers in driving V2's results for California and Hawaii.

Frank Markovich recently joined V2 as Region Manager for Florida. He is a 14-year veteran of the beverage industry having worked for Robert Mondavi Winery, Laetitia Vineyards and most recently Grgich Hills Estate after a successful stint in the U.S. Army. He brings to V2 Wine Group great experience and success in managing wholesalers and calling on national and regional accounts throughout Florida as well as working the many local independent accounts throughout Florida.

With the extension of the Dry Creek agreement, V2 Wine Group continues to partner with seven families with a passionate mission to help family-owned wineries in the North American marketplace. The company's portfolio, of both owned and represented brands has seen steady growth since Dan and Katy Leese and Pete and Terri Kight founded it in 2010. V2 WINE GROUP MAKES STRATEGIC ORGANIZATION ADDITIONS TO ENHANCE THEIR GROWING BUSINESS

SONOMA, Calif., -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California is very pleased to announce several significant management positions and the expansion of their sales and marketing teams that will strategically enhance their growing business. These changes take effect immediately.

Three Retail Chain Director positions were created to oversee all national retail chain business; Julie Agrella was hired as Retail Chain Director for the West Division, Brad Bartram has moved from his role as Region Manager to Retail Chain Director for the Central Division and Jim Grace was hired as the Retail Chain Director for the East Division. V2 enhanced its sales team with the addition of Cindy Bock as Region Manager - Southern California, Dan Gorden, as Region Manager - Northwest, Audrey Wood as Region Manager - Great Lakes, and Alex Wright as Region Manager - Colorado & Arizona. In addition to the expansion of the sales team, V2 Wine Group added a new marketing position, hiring Louis Charton as Marketing Coordinator.

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California and Merryvale Family of Wines (MFW) are proud to announce a sales and marketing partnership between the two companies effective February 1, 2016. Under the terms of the agreement V2 Wine Group will provide sales and marketing services and manage the distribution network of MFW throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. MFW portfolio is owned by the Schlatter family and operated by René Schlatter and includes Merryvale Vineyards, Profile Collection, Starmont Vineyards and Winery and Forward Kidd all produced in Napa Valley, CA.

V2 WINE GROUP ACQUIRES U.S. DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS FOR PREMIUM CHILEAN BRAND, VINA MORANDE

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California and Viña Morandé, Santiago, Chile are proud to announce a long-term agreement between the two companies effective immediately. Under the terms of the agreement V2 Wine Group has the exclusive rights to distribute Chile's Viña Morandé wines in the United States. V2 Wine Group is importing the Pionero ($10+), Reserva ($13-$15) and Gran Reserva ($20-$23) tiers of The Viña Morandé portfolio.

V2 WINE GROUP APPOINTS TEXAS REGIONAL SALES MANAGER  

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group announced the appointment of wine industry veteran Brad Bartram as the company’s regional sales manager, Texas. Bartram has an 18-year background of sales success in the Texas market, most recently as key account manager for Glazer’s overseeing the HEB business. He will be responsible for V2 Wine Group’s expanding portfolio, which includes Bouchaine Vineyards, Cameron Hughes Wines, Dry Creek Vineyard, Hedges Family Estate, LaFollette Wines, Lake Sonoma Winery, Lucinda & Millie Wines, Quivira Vineyards, Steelhead Vineyards, Toad Hollow Vineyards, Torbreck Vintners, and Valley of the Moon Wines. He will report to Jack Harvey, V2’s vice president of sales, central division.
