JOSE CORONADO JOINS V2 WINE GROUP AS MARKETING BRAND MANAGER  

V2 Wine Group announced three additions to their company with the appointments of Alyssa Oreck as the company’s winery accountant, Jose Coronado as marketing brand manager and Rosaline Fleisher (Roz) as New England regional sales manager. Oreck, Coronado and Fleisher join V2 Wine Group in these newly created positions as the company focuses on expansion.

Coronado was most recently a sales and marketing analyst for E&J Gallo Winery and prior to this he held sales positions with Gallo in the Boston and New Hampshire markets. In his position with V2 Wine Group he will focus primarily on the management and growth of V2—owned brands, Steelhead Vineyards, Lucinda & Millie Wines and Vindicated Wine. He will also provide his expertise in performance and trend analysis to the entire V2 Portfolio. Coronado will report to Alex Dessouky, vice president of marketing.

V2 WINE GROUP NAMES ALYSSA ORECK WINERY ACCOUNTANT  

V2 Wine Group announced three additions to their company with the appointments of Alyssa Oreck as the company’s winery accountant, Jose Coronado as marketing brand manager and Rosaline Fleisher (Roz) as New England regional sales manager. Oreck, Coronado and Fleisher join V2 Wine Group in these newly created positions as the company focuses on expansion.

Oreck holds a Certificate in wine industry finance and accounting from Sonoma State University and graduated with a B.S., business administration from California State University Chico. She began her wine industry career with Trinchero Family Estates. Oreck will be handling all aspects of V2’s accounting needs and will report to Keith Wesselschmidt, chief financial officer.  

V2 WINE GROUP HIRES ROSALINE FLEISHER AS NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

She will oversee all sales activities in the New England states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode lsland for V2 Wine Group’s growing portfolio, which includes Bouchaine Vineyards, Cameron Hughes Wines, Dry Creek Vineyard, Hedges Family Estate, LaFollette Wines, Lake Sonoma Winery, Lucinda & Millie Wines, Quivira Vineyards, Steelhead Vineyards, Toad Hollow Vineyards, Torbreck Vintners, Valley of the Moon and Vindicated Wine. Fleisher will report to Tod Umbach, vice president eastern division.

V2 WINE GROUP ANNOUNCES KEY MANAGEMENT CHANGES 
V2 Wine Group Makes Key Promotions within its Organization to Strategically Enhance their Growing Business  

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California is very pleased to announce several promotions within its organization that will strategically enhance their growing business. These changes will take effect immediately.

Scott Ericson has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales to reflect the growing size and scope of both the organization and the portfolio. Reporting to Scott will be the newly created Division Vice President positions as well as the National Retail Account Director and the Sales Operation Manager. Scott joined V2 Wine Group in April 2011 as the National Sales Manager.

Tod Umbach has been promoted to Division Vice President, East. In this new position, Tod will be responsible for the 19 Eastern States and will oversee the Region Mangers in this division. Tod joined V2 Wine Group in April 2011 as the Northeast Region Manager.

V2 WINE GROUP AND CAMERON HUGHES WINE ANNOUNCE SALES AND MARKETING AGREEMENT  

SONOMA, Calif. -- V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California and Cameron Hughes Wine, San Francisco, California are proud to announce a sales and marketing partnership between the two companies effective immediately. Under the terms of the agreement V2 Wine Group will provide sales and marketing services and manage the distribution network of Cameron Hughes brands, throughout the United States.

Cameron Hughes and Jessica Kogan founded Cameron Hughes Wine in 2001 with the desire to produce exceptional wines at affordable prices. Under the agreement, V2 will represent Cameron Hughes Lot Series, CAM Collection, Zin Your Face and Greenlip, a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. “Cameron Hughes is a pioneer. He and Jessica hit on a great idea over 10 years ago and have executed it to perfection. Gallichio-Jacobsen has a 23-year industry background that includes top sales roles with blue chip wine companies including Kobrand, Vincor and most recently Kenwood Vineyards. She will oversee all sales activities in New York and New Jersey for V2 Wine Group’s expanding portfolio, which includes Bouchaine Vineyards, Dry Creek Vineyard, Hedges Family Estate, LaFollette Wines, Lake Sonoma Wines, Lucinda & Millie Wines, Quivira Vineyards, Steelhead Vineyards, Toad Hollow Vineyards, and Valley of the Moon.

Hedges’s career has been a labor of love, working at his aunt and uncle’s winery, Hedges Family Estate, since at young age, most recently holding a key national sales position with the winery. V2 WINE GROUP HITS 300,000 CASES IN LESS THAN TWO YEARS

Selling premium wine in a challenging economic environment may be an uphill climb, but California newcomer V2 Wine Group is growing fast. Founded in April 2010 by industry veterans Dan and Katy Leese and entrepreneur Pete Kight, V2 Wine Group has amassed a portfolio of nine wine brands, all in the $12-and-above price range. With that premium focus, the Sonoma, California-based wine production, sales and marketing company has grown from just a few thousand cases to 300,000 cases in less than two years. This year, V2 president Dan Leese predicts that V2 will see volume growth of around 20% to roughly 360,000 cases.

V2 Wine Group, a new wine company founded by Dan and Katy Leese in partnership with Pete Kight, launches today with the full acquisition of Steelhead Wines of Dry Creek Valley. Based in Sonoma, California, V2 Wine Group is a wine producer that will also provide sales and marketing services to a limited group of third-party wineries. It is the latest venture of Dan and Katy Leese and wine entrepreneur Pete Kight.
